Job summary

Molex is seeking a Learning and Development Specialist to join the Optical Connectivity Group (OCG) in Lisle, IL. You will build and develop internal L&D, align programs with business goals, and support global delivery across time zones.

The role requires coordinating onboarding, designing training materials, and measuring impact on KPIs. This position offers a comprehensive benefits package and potential travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Business, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of five years in an L&D role in an engineering, R&D, manufacturing, or industrial environment.
• Minimum of three years instructional experience delivering training.
• Experience creating instructional materials and yearly training plans.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, including Excel.

Responsibilities

• Plan annual L&D plans for management and all applicable OCG functions/departments, including global stakeholders.
• Develop and track L&D programs for in-house and external training.
• Assess L&D needs and identify skills gaps; partner with leaders to prioritize actions.
• Support onboarding training, coordinate curriculum, and track training completion.
• Design, develop, implement, and maintain L&D materials for OCG training programs.
• Execute training in classroom, virtual, and hands-on/OJT environments.
• Maintain curriculum databases and L&D records for compliance and audits.
• Travel may be required to support global OCG functions.
