Job summary

Morgan Stanley is seeking a Global Financial Crimes (GFC) KYC Controls Monitoring and Screening Professional in Dallas. The role focuses on developing and optimizing the KYC Controls program, including ECRR and Negative News/PEP screening, to meet evolving regulatory requirements and firm risk tolerances.

You’ll work within GFC to enhance governance, testing, and remediation efforts. The position emphasizes data-driven tuning, alert performance analysis, and collaboration with technology teams

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in financial crimes compliance, KYC, client screening, screening analytics, or related risk and control functions.
  • Strong knowledge of negative news (NNS), PEP, sanctions, customer due diligence and ongoing screening concepts.
  • Ability to translate quantitative findings into clear, defensible recommendations and support technology implementations.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and enhance client screening capabilities (NNS, PEP, KYC controls).
  • Analyze large datasets to assess screening populations, alert performance, and data quality.
  • Conduct screening testing, threshold calibration, name-matching analysis and model assessments.
  • Develop data-driven tuning recommendations balancing regulatory requirements and operational impact.
  • Support screening technology implementations, migrations, and post-implementation reviews.
