Job summary

Teledyne Technologies Incorporated seeks a Jurisdiction & Classification Specialist to support and advance its global J&C program across multiple business units. The role partners with engineering, trade compliance, and business teams to drive accurate classifications in accordance with export control regulations.

The position may be based in Billerica, MA, Elkridge, MD, or Wilsonville, OR, supporting diverse Teledyne units and requiring strong regulatory knowledge and cross-functional

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, International Business, Trade Compliance, Supply Chain, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in export compliance, jurisdiction and classification, or related export control activities
• Experience with jurisdiction and classification for regulated products, software, or technology
• Experience with highly regulated technical products (aerospace, defense, electronics) preferred
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills

Responsibilities

• Support and coordinate the completion, review, and validation of Jurisdiction & Classification determinations for products, software, and technology
• Provide guidance on classification methodologies and regulatory requirements
• Support administration of the J&C Focal program, including participant training
• Develop and deliver J&C training materials and guidance on export control regulations
• Collaborate with Engineering, Trade Compliance, and cross-functional stakeholders
• Assist with CJ and CCATS submissions and maintain records
• Coordinate J&C-related projects, schedules, and stakeholder communications
• Assist with presentations and program materials for Global Trade Compliance J&C team
