Job summary

Hitachi Energy, a global leader in sustainable energy technology, seeks a Global IT Project Manager - Infrastructure to lead strategic infrastructure initiatives across the power grid ecosystem. You will drive planning, delivery, and governance with cross‑functional teams and external partners.

You must have a Bachelor's in engineering, 15+ years in formal IT infrastructure PMO, PMP, and a proven ability to navigate matrixed organizations using Waterfall with Agile execution.

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering.
  • 15+ years of formal IT infrastructure project management (PMO).
  • Proven success delivering IT projects in a matrixed organization.
  • Strong leadership and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Deep understanding of Waterfall methodologies with Agile execution capabilities.
  • PMP Certification required.
  • Network and industrial construction experience a plus.
  • 10% travel required.
  • Candidate must already have work authorization to work in the United States.
  • This role will not provide sponsorship currently or in the future.
  • Candidate must live EST in the United States of America

Your Background
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
  • 15+ years of experience in formal IT infrastructure project management (PMO).
  • Proven success delivering IT projects in a matrixed organization.
  • Strong leadership and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Deep understanding of Waterfall methodologies with Agile execution capabilities.
  • PMP Certification required.
  • Network and industrial construction experience a plus.
