Job summary

Standex Electronics seeks an experienced IT Project Manager to lead end-to-end IT initiatives within the PMO, ensuring delivery on time, within scope, and budget. You will collaborate with stakeholders across levels, manage charters, plans, and budgets, and drive governance, risk, and reporting throughout project lifecycles.

The role requires a strategic thinker with strong communication skills, a track record of resolving roadblocks, and a willingness to travel up to 50% during peak periods.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business, or related field.
• 2+ years of IT project management experience.
• Proficiency with Jira, MS Project, Smartsheet or similar.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% during peak project periods.

Responsibilities

• Intake project requirements and develop project charters.
• Manage/define project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource needs.
• Facilitate requirements, coordinate tasks, and remove roadblocks of the project plan.
• Identify and manage risks, issues, and dependencies.
• Maintain RAID logs and drive timely resolutions.
• Control scope through a change management process.
• Provide clear, timely project updates and status reporting.
• Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure ongoing alignment.
• Facilitate communication between business and technical teams.
• Track project spend, forecast costs, and report variances.
• Coordinate internal/external resources and elevate gaps when needed.
• Ensure deliverables meet requirements, architecture, security, and compliance standards.
• Support testing, deployment readiness, and post-implementation reviews.
• Follow PMO processes, templates, and governance.
• Contribute lessons learned and help improve PMO practices.
• Strong understanding of IT topics: infrastructure, IAM, endpoint security, IoT, AI enablement, application modernization, integrations, data migration.
• Familiarity with manufacturing processes and Industry 4.0.
• Excellent oral and written communication with senior leadership.
