Job summary

Original Composites & Fiberglass is seeking an organized IT Technical Buyer & Financial Analyst to support purchasing, financial analysis, and contract administration for IT services, software, hardware, and telecom. This role partners with IT leaders, Finance, and Legal to ensure accurate spend, renewals, and budgeting.

The position is part of a dynamic integration post-acquisition with responsibilities spanning spend forecasts, invoicing, and close processes to support scalable IT operations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in financial planning, forecasting, purchasing administration, supplier invoice management, budgeting, or financial analysis.
• Experience supporting an IT organization is strongly preferred.
• Experience as a buyer, procurement analyst, or contract administrator for IT spend.
• Proficiency with SAP ERP or similar enterprise purchasing and finance platforms.
• Advanced Excel and Office skills for data analysis and reporting.
• Strong accounting principles, cost allocations, accruals, and financial controls related to technology spend.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary IT buyer for procurement of IT services, software, subscriptions, hardware, and telecom services.
• Create and manage purchase requisitions and purchase orders per procedures and budgets.
• Collaborate with IT, Finance, Sourcing, Legal, and suppliers to validate requirements and resolve invoice issues.
• Monitor open POs, committed spend, renewals, and supplier billing risks affecting IT services.
• Validate licenses, renewal terms, and contractual references before orders are submitted or renewed.
• Process spend activity and vendor invoices promptly to avoid interruptions and blocks.
• Consolidate and submit monthly IT expense forecasts; generate variance analyses.
• Support monthly/quarterly closes with accruals and cost center allocations.
• Assist annual IT budget planning and capital spend tracking; prepare leadership recommendations.
• Track project capitalization decisions and contract renewal documentation.
