Job summary

Cabot Corporation is seeking an experienced Internal Auditor to join the Global Internal Audit team. This remote role requires candidates to be based in the Eastern Time Zone with ~30-40% travel to EMEA, APAC, NA, and SA.

You will lead ITGC and ITAC audits, participate in SOX testing, and review internal controls over financial reporting across Cabot locations worldwide. The role offers a dynamic, global audit environment with opportunities for career growth and exposure to both IT and business

Qualifications

• 3+ years of auditing experience.
• BS / BA in business with a concentration in information systems, accounting, or related field.
• Masters in Business, Accounting, Finance or Information Systems is a plus.
• SOX testing experience across all ITGC categories required.
• Experience testing business process controls and/or desire to develop non-IT audit experience.
• Big 4 auditing experience is a plus.
• Relevant certification (CISA, CIA, CPA) or progress toward designation preferred.
• Ability to travel ~30-40% domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Conduct audits to determine the effectiveness and compliance of internal controls over financial reporting.
• Lead audits of IT General Controls (ITGCs) and IT Application Controls (ITACs) and report testing.
• Lead and/or assist audits of business processes or operational controls globally.
• Prepare audit reports detailing observations and recommendations.
• Coordinate with internal clients and external auditors; follow up on audit solutions.
