Kennametal Inc. Latrobe, PA area is seeking a Global Category Manager for IT & Finance. The role leads global category strategies with responsibility for IT ($70M) and Finance ($40M) spend, driving savings, risk management, and supplier value across NAM, EMEA, APAC, and India.

Responsibilities include developing roadmaps, leading RFx events, negotiating contracts, and partnering with IT, Finance, HR, Legal, and regional stakeholders to optimize procurement and ensure compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business, or engineering.
• Minimum 5+ years of strategic sourcing and procurement experience.
• 3+ years leading global sourcing initiatives and category strategies.
• Experience with SAP or ERP systems and complex negotiations.
• Strong negotiating, communication, and stakeholder-management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead global IT and Finance category strategies across NAM, EMEA, APAC, and India.
• Develop annual sourcing roadmaps, pipelines, and category plans aligned to objectives.
• Lead RFx events, supplier negotiations, and contract renewals.
• Define requirements, develop SOWs, and prepare sourcing strategies.
• Monitor savings and value realization through procurement tools and analytics.
