Job summary

Novotech seeks an Associate Director, IT Compliance to lead the global IT Compliance function in a CRO environment. You will drive governance, audit readiness, ISMS, and regulatory guidance for GxP systems, partnering with IT, QA, Legal and external auditors.

You will manage audits, risk assessments and documentation, ensuring inspection-readiness while integrating data privacy and regulatory requirements across the enterprise.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT/CS/InfoSec or related field.
• Significant IT compliance, governance or information security experience.
• Experience with regulated environments (clinical research, pharma, life sciences).
• Experience supporting audits and regulatory/certification processes.
• Knowledge of ISO/IEC 27001:2022 and related controls.
• GxP systems, data integrity and 21 CFR Part 11 familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Lead global IT Compliance function, set priorities and standards.
• Coordinate audits, responses and regulatory support across vendors and sponsors.
• Maintain ISMS records, evidence and governance artefacts.
• Provide guidance on GxP, risk-based validation and regulatory expectations.
• Oversee vendor/supplier compliance and third-party risk assessments.
• Drive continuous improvement in audit readiness and documentation.
