Job summary

Broadridge Financial Solutions is seeking a Senior IT Audit Director to lead the global technology audit plan across a fintech environment and manage a distributed team in the US and abroad. You will report to the Head of IT Audit and partner with senior management to drive risk-based assurance, control effectiveness, and remediation progress.

The role requires deep expertise across ITGC, cybersecurity, cloud, and SDLC, plus experience with GRC tools and executive-level reporting.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of IT audit or technology risk leadership experience.
• Proven leadership in complex, regulated environments (financial services/fintech).
• Strong knowledge of ITGC, SOX readiness, cloud risk, cybersecurity, IAM, infrastructure, and SDLC controls.
• Experience with vulnerability management, incident response, DR/BCP, data governance.
• Familiarity with NIST CSF, COBIT, ISO 27001, SOC 1/2, HIPAA, PCI DSS.
• Ability to build risk assessments and audit plans and report to senior stakeholders.
• Experience presenting to executive leadership.
• Experience leading distributed teams.
• Experience with GRC platforms and data-enabled auditing; Jira, Confluence, Archer, AutoAudit.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; CISA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a risk-based technology audit plan aligned to enterprise priorities and regulatory expectations.
• Lead technology risk assessments across ITGC, SOX readiness, cybersecurity, cloud, IAM, and third-party risk.
• Direct end-to-end audits covering AWS/cloud environments, product engineering, SDLC, vulnerability management, and DR/BCP.
• Provide assurance using NIST CSF, COBIT, ISO 27001, SOC 1/2, HIPAA, and PCI DSS as applicable.
• Oversee reviews of emerging technologies including blockchain, AI/GPT/agentic solutions, digital wallets, and digital currency processes.
• Evaluate design and operating effectiveness of IT general controls and support remediation readiness.
• Produce concise audit reporting for the Audit Committee and senior leadership.
• Coach and develop a distributed IT audit team across regions.
