Job summary

TikTok in Los Angeles is seeking an experienced Internal Controls professional to lead risk identification and testing across US statutory audits and global functions. You will liaise with external auditors and support the design and operating effectiveness of control activities, including IT general and application controls.

The role focuses on strengthening risk management, improving processes, and collaborating with tech teams to ensure SOX readiness and adherence to US GAAP and PCAOB

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Strong command of RCM methodologies and testing; practical experience in business and IT controls (ITGC/ITAC).
• Fluent in Mandarin and English; ability to align management with external auditors in complex scenarios.

Responsibilities

• Deeply participate in group level and US Statutory Audit and compliance projects; act as liaison with external auditors.
• Build and refine the Risk Control Matrix (RCM); execute walkthroughs and Tests of Effectiveness (ToE).
• Analyze end-to-end workflows to identify risks and design improvements balancing risk and efficiency.
• Partner with tech teams to implement IT general and application controls; drive automated risk management solutions.
• Drive cross-department collaboration and global team enablement.
