Job summary

The ESAB Group Inc. in North Bethesda, MD, is seeking a Corporate Communications Specialist to drive day-to-day employee communications, connect teammates to the company’s culture and priorities, and support events and giving programs.

The role collaborates with the VP of Corporate Communications and cross-functional partners across HR, Legal, and IT to develop clear, consistent communications for a global workforce. It is a hybrid position at ESAB World Headquarters.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in communications, journalism, English, public relations, marketing, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years progressive internal communications experience in a complex or matrixed organization.
• Experience supporting corporate events and corporate giving programs preferred.
• Portfolio of writing samples demonstrating range and strategic thinking.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day internal communications operations, editorial planning, publishing, and measurement.
• Support executives with messaging for priorities, decisions, organizational changes, and strategy.
• Develop executive and enterprise communications, including narratives, town halls, and talking points.
• Coordinate internal and external communications during mergers, acquisitions, and integrations.
• Maintain engagement metrics, calendars, and dashboards; collaborate with HR, Legal, IT, and regional teams.
