Job summary

IG US Holdings in Chicago is seeking an Internal Audit Manager to lead engagements, partner with UK and Poland teams, and provide independent assurance across the business. The role reports to Global Internal Audit and operates in a hybrid environment with three days in the Chicago office.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years post-qualified IA experience, strong finance/economics grounding, and proven ability to challenge at all levels while delivering clear, actionable insights.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years post-qualified experience in Internal Audit.
• Solid grounding in finance/economics with interest in markets.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to challenge at all levels.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Analytical mindset with ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Plan assurance work with risk-based scope and timelines.
• Lead fieldwork across diverse activities and maintain high-quality workpapers.
• Write concise reports with actionable recommendations and present to senior management.
• Track remediation, validate management actions, escalate high-risk items.
• Contribute to audit plan and keep methodology current.
• Support governance reporting and coordinate with risk/compliance/external auditors.
• Collaborate across time zones with UK and Poland teams.
