Job summary

This hybrid role partners with stakeholders at all levels, supports SOX activities, mentors teammates, and drives continuous improvement. Limited travel is expected, with eligible offices in Indianapolis and other AES locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in business, accounting, finance, or a related field.
• CIA or CPA certification is preferred.
• Experience in internal or external audit, risk management, or compliance.
• Big 4 or multinational experience preferred.
• Strong analytical and communication skills; ability to present complex concepts clearly.

Responsibilities

• Lead risk-based audits of operational processes and controls.
• Assess design and operating effectiveness of controls across functions.
• Develop actionable recommendations with management.
• Prepare clear workpapers and audit reports that meet standards.
• Coordinate SOX compliance activities as applicable.
• Mentor junior team members and share knowledge.
• Travel domestically and internationally (10–20% typical).
