Job summary

Warner Music Group is hiring a Director of Accounting - Global Intercompany to lead reconciliations, settlements and eliminations across multiple entities. You will guide general ledger, monthly closings, intercompany transactions and consolidations while ensuring SOX compliance and strong internal controls.

You will manage a diverse global team, interact with auditors, and drive process improvements using Blackline and related tools.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Accounting required; Master’s of Accounting a plus.
• 8–10 years of progressive accounting or controllership experience with 3–5 years in a Global Business Services leadership role.
• Experience with Intercompany accounting, consolidations, and foreign currency translations.
• CPA a plus; strong SOX compliance knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Oversee reconciliations, settlements, eliminations, and dispute resolution across all legal entities.
• Lead general ledger accounting, monthly close, balance sheet reconciliations, intercompany accounting and consolidations.
• Ensure SOX controls, process narratives, and documentation are up to date.
• Mentor and develop a global accounting team; provide financial reporting support.
