Job Description:

The Global Intelligence Manager leads the Protective Intelligence mission within the Global Intelligence & Threat Analysis (GITA) team, serving as the enterprise lead for Protective Intelligence across The Walt Disney Company and affiliated business units. As a senior individual contributor, this role identifies emerging threats, assesses evolving risks, and produces finished intelligence supporting the protection of executives, talent, employees, productions, major events, executive travel, and other designated individuals.

Serving as the primary intelligence partner to Protective Services, the Protective Intelligence Manager transforms information from diverse internal, external, commercial, government, law enforcement, and open-source reporting into timely, analytically rigorous intelligence that enables proactive, risk-informed protective security decisions. The role also leads GITA’s North America intelligence mission by continuously assessing the regional threat environment and evaluating developments involving targeted violence, grievance-driven actors, extremism, organized crime, geopolitical events, technology-enabled threats, and other issues that could affect Company personnel, operations, or reputation.

Your Role on the Team

As the Global Intelligence Manager, you are accountable for GITA’s Protective Intelligence capability. You establish intelligence priorities, define intelligence requirements, guide collection and analytical efforts, and ensure intelligence products meet the highest standards of objectivity, quality, and operational relevance. You are responsible for ensuring GITA answers the organization’s highest-priority protective intelligence requirements by identifying emerging threats, assessing evolving risks, and providing intelligence that informs protective planning, operational decision-making, and enterprise risk management.

Every Day Is Different — Depending on the Day, You Will…
  • Lead GITA’s Protective Intelligence capability, ensuring intelligence priorities align with evolving enterprise risks and Protective Services requirements.
  • Operate with a high degree of autonomy, exercising sound judgment, ownership, and accountability while independently managing competing priorities and delivering intelligence products with minimal oversight.
  • Develop and manage intelligence requirements and collection plans supporting executive protection, executive travel, major events, and other protective security missions.
  • Identify, assess, and analyze threats affecting executives, talent, productions, major events, facilities, and other designated individuals.
  • Produce Executive Intelligence Assessments, Major Event Risk Assessments, Executive Travel Risk Assessments, other finished intelligence supporting security decision-making.
  • Continuously assess the North America threat environment, identifying changes in adversary capability, intent, or targeting and evaluating developments involving targeted violence, extremism, organized crime, civil unrest, geopolitical events, technology-enabled threats, and other emerging risks.
  • Integrate intelligence from open-source, commercial, government, law enforcement, and internal sources to develop objective, comprehensive intelligence assessments.
  • Brief senior Global Security leaders and operational partners on emerging threats, intelligence assessments, and strategic risk considerations to influence how executives understand and react to global events that could significantly impact the business.
  • Build and maintain trusted partnerships across Protective Services, GSCC, GSI, Entertainment Security, business units, law enforcement, and external intelligence partners to ensure intelligence informs protective planning and operational decision-making.
  • Partner with Global Security stakeholders to define data requirements and ensure information captured across shared enterprise platforms is structured and leveraged to support trend analysis, pattern identification, and the production of finished intelligence.
  • Continuously improve GITA’s Protective Intelligence capability by identifying opportunities to enhance intelligence collection, analytical methodologies, tradecraft, technology, and intelligence products.
What You Will Need to Be Successful
  • +7 years of progressively responsible experience in protective intelligence, intelligence analysis, threat assessment, corporate intelligence, national security, military intelligence, or law enforcement intelligence.
  • Demonstrated experience leading an intelligence mission, capability, or analytical portfolio, including establishing intelligence requirements, guiding collection priorities, and producing finished intelligence that informs executive decision-making.
  • Demonstrated expertise producing finished intelligence, executive-level assessments, and strategic intelligence products supporting protective security, executive protection, or intelligence operations.
  • Exceptional analytical judgment with the ability to synthesize complex information into concise, objective, and actionable intelligence for senior executives and operational leaders.
  • Demonstrated ability to independently manage complex intelligence portfolios, exercise sound judgment in ambiguous environments, and consistently deliver high-quality work with minimal oversight.
  • Proven ability to influence cross-functional partners, establish trusted stakeholder relationships, and provide technical leadership without formal supervisory authority.
  • Excellent executive-level written, verbal, and presentation skills.
  • Eligibility for or possession of a U.S. Government-sponsored security clearance (SECRET or higher).
Education is important to us, here is what we are looking for…
  • Bachelor’s degree in Intelligence Studies, Security Studies, International Relations, Political Science, Criminal Justice, or a related field.
It Would Be a Plus If You Have…

  • Formal intelligence training, completion of a Career Analyst Program, or equivalent analytical development program.
  • Experience leading intelligence requirements, collection management, or strategic intelligence support for senior stakeholders.
  • Professional certifications or recognized involvement in the protective intelligence or threat management community (e.g., ATAP, CTM).
