Sargent & Lundy, a global power and energy consulting leader, seeks an Insurance Manager to oversee the company’s insurance program, renewals, and risk strategies. This role collaborates with senior leadership and external brokers to shape coverage across jurisdictions.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in business insurance, underwriting, and contract risk management, with a Bachelor’s degree and strong communication skills. Hybrid work and competitive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Experience in underwriting, insurance brokerage, or in-house insurance/risk management.
• Strong knowledge of business insurance programs, including professional and general liability.
• Experience reviewing and commenting on contractual insurance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Manage and administer the company’s business insurance program day-to-day.
• Work with VP Commercial, General Counsel, and broker to develop the program.
• Oversee underwriting data collection and renewals for multiple jurisdictions.
• Review contracts for insurance requirements and negotiate terms.
• Evaluate risks, develop strategies, and coordinate with brokers, carriers, and stakeholders.
• Support administration of key coverages and maintain records.
