Job summary

Medline is seeking a Risk Management professional to support the company’s global insurance program and risk control initiatives. You will collaborate with brokers, insurers, and TPAs to gather data, analyze exposures, and renew policies, while implementing loss control measures.

The role requires 2+ years in finance or risk management, strong insurance process knowledge, and proficiency with Outlook, Excel and Word. Travel up to 15% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• At least 2 years of Finance, Risk Management, or related discipline.
• Understanding of insurance process.
• Ability to comprehend and navigate policy wording.
• Advanced knowledge of Outlook, Microsoft Excel, and Word applications.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Strong customer relationship skills.
• Experience analyzing and reporting data to drive improvement and find solutions.
• Experience prioritizing and tracking multiple projects with deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Support Medline's insurance and risk programs by working with brokers, insurers, consultants, and TPAs.
• Gather, analyze, and provide data for insurance renewal, update property values by location, issue certificates of insurance, and process insurance invoices.
• Provide recommendations for updates to policies, practices and processes.
• Ensure receipt of all insurance policies and review policy wording for accuracy.
• Gather global exposures for the insurance program and work with accounting to allocate premiums.
• Coordinate loss control programs between Medline and insurance carriers to support risk improvement.
• Attend loss control surveys to communicate risk mitigation strategies.
• Work with location contacts to implement solutions and reduce risk.
• Compile information to submit insurance claims; follow up with adjusters to ensure payment.
• Support risk management services including risk consulting, contract reviews, vendor COI tracking, business continuity, and budgeting needs.
• Continuously improve the risk management program and utilize the Risk Management Information System.
