  • Partner with commercial leadership and cross-functional partners to define and prioritize objectives, budgets, and work plans; lead cross-functional alignment on implications and recommended actions; exercise independent judgement to resolve evidence gaps and elevate recommended trade-offs.
  • Clearly communicate insights and recommendations to a variety of audiences to influence brand decision-making, including senior leadership such as Therapeutic Area Heads and Disease Area Strategy Leads, and serve as a constructive devil’s advocate when needed.
  • Identify, evaluate, and manage relationships with best-in-class vendors; lead agency teams and direct allocation of project resources to deliver the highest-value work.
  • Informally coach Managers and project teams in problem framing, research design, synthesis, and executive communication; promote and contribute to a culture of actively exchanging learnings and best practices across Global Insights; and contribute to the development of insight methods, marketing excellence, and AI-enabled insights capabilities.
  • Maintain a high standard of rigor and attention to detail across insight generation and communication, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and quality of evidence and recommendations; ensure that routine and ad hoc projects are in compliance with all Amgen SOPs and meet service-level expectations for quality, timeliness, and budget.
