Job summary

Dermalogica, based in Carson, CA, is seeking a Director of Global Innovation to set the future category and product strategy for the global brand and oversee the retail pipeline.

The role partners with R&D, Operations, Creative and Education to develop skin care innovations, manage an innovation P&L, and drive new customer acquisition across markets with a strong emphasis on timing, budgets, and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience defining category strategy and building multi-year roadmaps in global beauty/skincare organizations.
• Strong leadership of large, cross-functional teams across R&D, operations, marketing and education.
• Proven ability to translate consumer insights and market data into innovative product concepts.

Responsibilities

• Develops the global category strategy and 3+ year innovation vision.
• Leads skin care innovations and future concepts with new technologies and formats.
• Owns the innovation P&L and business case; chairs stage-gate reviews and advises leadership.
• Manages cross-functional teams to deliver Go-to-Market plans and packaging/formulation updates.
• Tracks KPIs like new launches’ share, acquisition, and ROI of innovations.
