Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer to maintain and enhance the global infrastructure across on-premises and cloud environments. You will apply deep technical expertise in servers, storage, networking, virtualization, backup and monitoring to ensure stability and security.

The role involves hands-on problem solving, incident support, project delivery, and driving standardisation and modernisation across the organisation, with collaboration across global teams.

Qualifications

• Professional experience in IT support, minimum 3+ years under Service Desk, systems administration, networking, or cloud operations.
• Strong experience supporting core infrastructure technologies (servers, storage, networking, VMs).
• Solid hands-on experience with Windows Server, Active Directory/Entra ID, Group Policy, and enterprise management platforms.
• Practical knowledge of virtualisation (VMware/Hyper-V) and cloud systems (Azure preferred).
• Experience with patching, monitoring, and configuration-management tools.
• Understanding of backup, replication, and disaster-recovery concepts.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues across multiple domains.
• Strong documentation, communication, and stakeholder-engagement skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, support, and improve the global infrastructure platform across on-premises and cloud environments.
• Provide deep technical expertise across servers, storage, networking, virtualisation, backup and disaster recovery, and monitoring systems.
• Ensure the stability, resilience, performance, and security of infrastructure services that underpin business operations.
• Deliver hands-on technical work, support incidents, participate in project delivery, implement change, and contribute to global standardisation and modernisation initiatives.
