Job summary

Intercontinental Exchange (ICE) is seeking an Infrastructure Project Manager to join our Atlanta or Jacksonville office. This role partners with global infrastructure leads to drive the successful delivery of complex technology infrastructure projects in a fast-moving environment.

You will plan, schedule, and manage projects, develop work plans, coordinate with vendors and finance, and communicate delivery expectations to internal and external customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of professional experience, including 4+ years in PM.
• Experience managing project resources in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience coaching junior team members or leading PMs.
• Technical knowledge of data center and infrastructure technologies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong PM fundamentals: scheduling, resource planning, risk & issue management, estimating.
• Proficiency with MS Project, Excel, PowerPoint, PPMx or similar.
• Ability to present to senior/executive audiences.
• PM certifications (PMP/PRINCE2/SAFe) a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan, manage and execute delivery of complex technology infrastructure projects across a dynamic global environment.
• Develop project work plans specifying goals, staffing, scheduling, risks and contingency plans.
• Facilitate communication across multiple functional organizations, technology, teams, vendors, and finance.
• Create cross-functional project plans including scope, schedules, stakeholders, resourcing and risk analysis.
• Work with internal and external customers to manage delivery expectations.
• Translate high-level scopes into structured schedules; adapt plans as needs change.
• Run outcome-driven meetings with clear agendas, owners and deadlines.
• Proactively surface issues, risks and decisions to stakeholders.
• Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement within the PMO.
• Coach and support junior team members; pathway into vertical management for the right person.
