Zoom is seeking an experienced Indirect Tax professional to join our team in a hybrid role from Raleigh, NC. You will manage end-to-end VAT and indirect tax compliance across multiple jurisdictions, support month-end close, and enable AI-driven tax improvements.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, apply US GAAP to tax processes, and help respond to audits while supporting business growth and tax accuracy across global operations.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in indirect tax roles with multinational businesses.
• Perform indirect tax compliance, GL accounting, and tax advisory for complex, multi-jurisdictional operations.
• Apply US GAAP accounting principles to tax processes.
• Communicate clearly in writing and verbally with ability to create documentation.
• Maintain high attention to detail in all deliverables.
• Experience from Big 4 and in-house tax environments.
• Apply telecommunications industry knowledge to tax operations.

Responsibilities

• Managing end-to-end VAT and indirect tax compliance processes across multiple jurisdictions, from data review through submission and payment.
• Executing VAT and indirect tax accounting processes during month-end and quarter-end close, including controls and management checks.
• Supporting global e-invoicing, Continuous Transaction Controls, and digital tax reporting requirements.
• Collaborating with tax technology teams to identify automation opportunities and deliver AI-driven process improvements.
• Responding to audit requests from tax authorities, third-party auditors, and internal teams while supporting customer-facing teams with tax queries.
