Job summary

IRIS Software Group is seeking a qualified accountant to support month-end close, revenue recognition, and balance sheet reconciliations across multiple systems. You will help with year-end audit and provide timely financial reporting while coordinating with geographically dispersed US teams.

The role requires strong communication, ability to manage competing priorities, and a proactive, detail-oriented approach in a dynamic environment. A Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required.
• Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience.
• Experience with multiple software systems (SAP, NetSuite) and revenue recognition.

Responsibilities

• Build monthly billing files for Core and Ancillary billings.
• Reconcile cash accounts and resolve discrepancies.
• Handle customer refunds, cancellations and chargebacks.
• Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
• Process deferred revenue, accruals and prepayment journals.
• Manage month-end close procedures for timely reporting.
• Monitor accounts receivable and overdue amounts.
• Review, reconcile and file sales tax returns and payments.
• Support annual audit and liaise with auditors on testing.
• Provide ad hoc support to Finance Manager as required.
