Job summary

Oak Ridge Institute for Science and Education (ORISE) offers a full-time research opportunity with CDC in Atlanta, GA. The project focuses on IT, data analytics, automation, visualization, and AI applications to support global immunization program activities.

You will train on Power BI reporting, data management, SharePoint development, Microsoft 365 solutions, and Power Platform tools, with mentorship to develop technical documentation and guides.

Qualifications

• Pursuing or has a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, AI or related field.
• Strong interest in applying IT and data-driven solutions to public health.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong communication.
• U.S. citizenship or equivalent status; eligible for public health-related programs.

Responsibilities

• Participate in IT/data projects using Power BI and visualization tools.
• Contribute to documentation, user guides and job aids under mentorship.
• Assist with SharePoint site development and Power Platform workflows.
• Develop skills in data management, governance, and stakeholder communication.
