Job summary

The Vanguard Group seeks a visionary Head of Client Identity Engineering to define and deliver a global client identity strategy, architecture, and engineering capabilities. You will oversee identity platforms, security, resilience, and production operations across digital channels, partnering with senior executives to enable secure, frictionless experiences for clients.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience leading global client identity, digital identity, cybersecurity, platform, or application engineering teams.
• Deep technical knowledge of modern identity architecture, authentication, authorization, federation, and APIs.
• Experience driving security, resilience, and cloud-based identity programs at scale.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the global client identity engineering strategy, target architecture, multiyear roadmap, and investment priorities.
• Lead globally distributed engineering teams accountable for architecture, software development, platform engineering, reliability, testing, and production support.
• Build reusable platforms, APIs, SDKs, automation, observability, and engineering standards.
• Lead rapid experimentation, threat modeling, and scalable solutions with governance and secure engineering practices.
