Job summary

Ideal Tridon is seeking a Global Director for Health, Safety and Environmental to lead HSE initiatives at Smyrna, TN and oversee US and global operations including Mexico, Europe, Asia and India. The role requires a hands-on leader to ensure OSHA, EPA, and DOT compliance and to drive continuous improvement in safety and environmental programs.

The successful candidate will manage ISO 14001 programs, ESG reporting, chemical management, training, audits and incident investigations, while

Qualifications

• Minimum ten years of HSE experience in metalworking manufacturing or similar industry.
• Experience with multi-site global responsibilities.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA, DOT and EPA regulations.
• Experience developing and conducting HSE training.
• Proficiency in HSE recordkeeping and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead HSE compliance for all ITG sites and oversee budgets to achieve compliance.
• Develop and maintain ISO 14001 Environmental Management System programs.
• Oversee ESG site and corporate reporting (Environmental, Social, Governance).
• Maintain risk assessments, incident investigations, and corrective actions.
• Coordinate chemical management (SDS, inventory, approvals) across sites.
• Partner with engineers and operations to reduce hazardous exposures and waste.
