PPG Industries, a global leader in coatings and specialty materials, seeks a Global HR Business Partner for Aerospace Transparencies & Materials in the Atlanta area. The role partners with global leadership to align talent and organizational design with commercial priorities, manufacturing focus, and growth targets.

The HRBP will drive talent strategy, workforce planning, succession, and change management across manufacturing locations, while supporting S&OP and industrial network optimization.

The Global HR Business Partner (HRBP), Aerospace Transparencies & Materials, is a strategic advisor to the Global Transparencies and Regional Materials leadership teams. The role drives growth and operational excellence through talent strategy, organizational design, and employee engagement aligned with commercial and industrial priorities. With a strong manufacturing focus, the HRBP will strengthen S&OP, optimize the Business Unit’s industrial network, and support organic growth through workforce and production capacity planning. Reporting to the Global HR Director, the role partners closely with HR leadership at the Aerospace ASC in Atlanta.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the global execution of HR strategies and initiatives, navigating local business complexity while championing enterprise alignment and a clear, consistent ONE PPG message.
• Serve as a strategic HR partner to B2B sales leadership, shaping sales org models, incentive design, and compensation frameworks aligned to go-to-market strategy, growth targets, and market dynamics.
• Partner with business and operations leaders to strengthen the S&OP process, ensuring effective workforce planning and organizational alignment with demand, supply, and operational priorities.
• Support the strategic management and evolution of the Business Unit’s industrial network, enabling effective organizational design, talent deployment, and change management across manufacturing locations.
• Enable organic growth by partnering on production capacity strategy, anticipating workforce requirements, identifying capability gaps, and supporting timely resource and talent decisions.
• Build and manage succession plans in partnership with business leaders by assessing talent across the organization and key talent pools to develop succession candidates.
• Serves as change agent for effective communication and implementation of organizational change initiatives.
• Develop meaningful data and insights, metrics and scorecards to assess and monitor progress.
• Champion and support diversity and inclusion initiatives to drive awareness and accountability and customize strategies where needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field.
• 12+ years of progressive HR experience within matrixed industrial manufacturing organizations, with experience operating in global, multi-country management structures.
• Demonstrated experience partnering with global, matrixed B2B sales organizations, including designing and supporting sales incentive plans.
• Prior experience shaping and executing talent and culture strategy alongside senior leadership, with measurable success in building HR programs that generate long-term value for employees, customers, and shareholders.
• Possess cultural sensitivity and emotional intelligence to work successfully across borders, functions, and levels.
