Job summary

Vertex is seeking a talented HEOR Associate Director to join its Global Health Economics & Outcomes Research group in Boston, MA. You will shape and execute HEOR strategies to optimize value and evidence for Vertex’s renal pipeline asset povetacicept, currently in phase III.

You will lead complex evidence generation, publish in peer‑reviewed journals, and collaborate with Pricing, Market Access and medical communications to ensure timely dissemination and maximum impact.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in a relevant discipline (PhD, MD, MPH, or PharmD).
• Typically requires 8 years of experience with substantial HEOR background.
• Proven ability to publish in peer‑reviewed journals.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex HEOR evidence generation including cost-effectiveness analyses and budget impact models.
• Synthesize insights from Payers, KOLs and HEOR experts; stay current with trends and best practices.
• Apply knowledge to design of observational research studies.
• Collaborate with medical communications teams on publication strategy for maximum impact.
• Partner with Global Pricing and Market Access to support value narratives.
