Job summary

Guidehouse is seeking a Global Health Program Operations Consultant to support the U.S. Department of State portfolio. You will help plan, implement, and improve health programs, working with diverse stakeholders to produce client-ready deliverables and analyses.

The role requires an active Secret clearance, a Bachelor's degree, and 2+ years in consulting, government, or global health. Travel up to 10% and exposure to AI tools for data insights are desirable.

Qualifications

  • Active SECRET security clearance (U.S. federal)
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and 2+ years of professional experience in consulting, government, global health, international development, program management, or related area
  • Ability to support planning, execution, and reporting across multiple health program initiatives
  • Experience with data analysis, dashboards, and client deliverables (SOPs, reports)
  • Strong written and verbal communication with stakeholders across diverse teams
  • Exposure to federal government clients and health programs is a plus

What You Will Do

As a Global Health Program Operations Consultant supporting Guidehouse’s U.S. Department of State portfolio, you will contribute to the planning, implementation, and improvement of global health programs and initiatives. The ideal candidate is an analytical and organized professional with an interest in global health, foreign assistance, or management consulting. You will work across a diverse portfolio of initiatives and collaborate with stakeholders to support program execution, analyze information, coordinate activities, and develop high-quality client deliverables.



  • Support planning and execution across program management, financial management, grants, data and analytics, technology modernization, and operations.

  • Track project plans, action items, risks, issues, and status updates to keep work on track.

  • Analyze financial, performance, and other information to identify insights and support decision‑making.

  • Develop client‑ready presentations, analyses, dashboards, SOPs, and other deliverables.

  • Coordinate with stakeholders and support meetings, decisions, and follow‑up activities.

What You Will Need

An ACTIVE and MAINTAINED \"SECRET\" Federal or DoD security clearance Bachelor's degree TWO (2) or more years of professional experience in consulting, government, global health, international development, program management, or a related field.


What Would Be Nice To Have


  • Experience supporting the U.S. Department of State, USAID, foreign assistance, or global health programs.

  • Experience in federal consulting or a government‑facing professional services environment.

  • Familiarity with AI solutions, data visualization, automation, or collaboration tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Microsoft Power Platform, SharePoint, or similar platforms.

  • Strong project coordination and organizational skills.

  • Strong analytical skills.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Teams, and related tools.
