Job summary

Uber is seeking a Manager, Strategic Headcount Planning to own global headcount planning for the Ads GTM teams and to partner across Sales, Strategy & Planning, Finance, Recruiting, and People teams. You will design and govern headcount processes, while delivering decision-grade data models and executive-ready reporting.

The role blends strategic planning with hands-on execution, requiring a track record in workforce strategy and a strong capability to operate across executive levels.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in program management, strategy & operations, workforce planning, or similar roles.
• Advanced proficiency in Google Sheets / Excel and strong analytical skills, with experience building/managing data models, complex formulas, and data trackers.
• Bachelor’s degree

Responsibilities

• Own global headcount planning for the Ads GTM teams with scenario-based plans.
• Partner with Sales Leadership, S&P, and Finance on investment strategy, hiring timelines, and prioritization across regions.
• Build and maintain forward-looking models that incorporate attrition and internal mobility.
• Own end-to-end headcount lifecycle, including requisition approvals and governance for backfills.
• Deliver executive-ready reporting on headcount performance and hiring progress to plan.
