Job summary

Bristol Myers Squibb is seeking an Executive Director to lead Microbiology Quality Sterility Assurance (MQSA) and the enterprise Contamination Control Strategy (CCS) across the manufacturing network. You will partner with PD, MSAT, Quality, Internal/External Manufacturing to shape governance and regulatory readiness at the executive level.

The role requires 10+ years in aseptic/sterility programs within regulated environments, strong leadership, and extensive experience with FDA/EMA inspections,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a scientific discipline with relevant aseptic/sterility background.
• 10+ years of progression in people management within regulated environments (FDA, EMA, etc.).
• Experience in aseptic/sterility assurance across pharma/biopharma settings and regulatory inspections.

Responsibilities

• Define, own, and govern the enterprise CCS and sterility strategy across sites and CMOs.
• Lead the MQSA function and globally distributed team, building capabilities and governance.
• Support regulatory inspections and interactions with Health Authorities (FDA, EMA, MHRA).
• Drive continuous improvement in aseptic/sterility assurance, including KPI trends and CAPA oversight.
