Job summary

Bristol Myers Squibb is seeking an Executive Director of Microbiology Quality Sterility Assurance (MQSA) to lead and govern enterprise-wide contamination control across a global manufacturing network, spanning pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical operations. This role requires strategic leadership, deep microbiology expertise, and collaboration with PD, MSAT, and external manufacturers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a scientific discipline.
• 10+ years of people management experience in regulated environments.
• Experience in aseptic/sterility assurance and bioburden control.
• Experience leading regulatory inspections and interactions with Health Authorities.

Responsibilities

• Define and own the Global Sterility & Microbiology Assurance Strategy.
• Lead the MQSA function and governance across global sites and CMOs.
• Provide technical oversight of microbiological controls across manufacturing operations.
• Drive regulatory compliance, inspections readiness, and CAPA across the network.
• Travel 30–50% to manage and partner with sites and CMOs.
