Job summary

Amplitude is hiring a Head of Total Rewards & Benefits, reporting to the CHRO, to own our global compensation programs and benefits portfolio. This senior, hands-on leadership role partners with the CEO, CFO, General Counsel, and the Compensation Committee.

You will design and run a competitive total rewards strategy, including pay structures, equity programs (RSUs, stock options, ESPP), and global benefits, while ensuring compliance and cost control across geographies.

Qualifications

• 12+ years in Total Rewards with 5+ years leading a team.
• Deep expertise in compensation design and executive compensation.
• Experience running global benefits programs in US and international markets.
• Strong financial and analytical skills with budgeting and forecasting.

Responsibilities

• Own global compensation strategy and programs, including pay structures, salary bands, leveling, and job architecture; administer equity programs (RSUs, stock options, ESPP).
• Lead annual and midyear compensation cycles and budget alignment with Finance; enable managers and partner with People Systems.
• Advise executives and the Compensation Committee with analyses, recommendations, and governance inputs.
• Oversee global benefits end to end: health, retirement, leave, wellbeing, and vendor management across markets.
