Qualifikationen

• Master’s degree or equivalent in Engineering, Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, Biomedical Engineering or related discipline; an advanced degree is preferred.
• 15+ years of relevant experience in a regulated environment; medical or biotechnology experience preferred.
• Prior experience leading systems engineering organizations of comparable scale (100+FTE).
• Demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional partners beyond R&D, including Quality, Regulatory, Finance, Marketing, Operations and Service.
• Strong demonstrated ability to coach and motivate a team and build strong cultures in line with Philips Behaviors.
• Expert knowledge of product development for consumer propositions, preferably medical consumer propositions.
• Proven experience in defining an innovation strategy with deep insights to engineering, architecture and research.
• Proven ability to manage innovation projects in a global, multi-site matrix environment, leading multidisciplinary teams across technologies and countries.
• Demonstrated experience leading complex products or programs from concept through launch.

• Define and drive long-term vision, objectives, policies, processes and budgets for the group.
• Build and maintain technical depth, standards, methods and architecture.

• Develop cross-functional relationships with department heads, programs, and partners to shape strategies and proposals.
