Job summary

Vantage seeks a Senior Director, Social Media & Content Strategy to lead global social media and digital content. The role can be based in Sterling, VA or Denver, CO, with a flexible policy (3 days onsite, 2 remote).

The Senior Director will develop audience-first content across LinkedIn, X, YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, podcasts, and more to strengthen reputation and engagement. This strategic leader will craft a scalable content engine, coordinate with Policy, Sustainability, Development, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in social media, content strategy, digital communications, or related disciplines.
• Minimum 5 years of leadership experience managing teams, agencies, and cross-functional initiatives.
• Proven success developing and scaling enterprise social media and content programs.
• Deep expertise in social media strategy, digital storytelling, editorial planning, content operations, and multimedia content development.

Responsibilities

• Develop and lead Vantage's global social media strategy, defining purpose, audience, content framework, and success metrics for each platform.
• Identify target audiences and establish platform-specific strategies for LinkedIn, X, YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, podcasts, and emerging channels.
• Create audience engagement programs to build trust with communities, policymakers, employees, recruits, customers and partners.
• Drive audience growth, engagement, share of voice, and positive sentiment across digital channels.
• Establish governance, policies, content standards, and publishing best practices across the organization.
• Build and lead a scalable content engine for global storytelling across channels.
