Job summary

FORVIA HELLA is seeking a Head of Quality to develop, implement and manage the company’s quality control processes across products and services. You will lead a team of quality specialists and oversee all product development procedures to ensure compliance with international standards.

The role requires extensive experience in quality management, strong leadership, and expertise in ISO 9001, audits, testing, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in quality management roles within the relevant industry preferred.
• Proven leadership abilities with experience leading and managing teams.
• Excellent knowledge of international quality standards and regulations (e.g., ISO 9001).
• Strong understanding of statistical quality control and structured problem-solving methods.
• Experience with quality inspection, auditing, and testing methodologies.
• Excellent communication, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
• Track record of implement­ing process improvements and change management.
• Knowledge of business management software, quality control applications and databases.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement and manage the company’s quality control processes and procedures.
• Oversee all product development procedures to identify deviations from quality standards.
• Ensure adherence to international and national quality legislation and standards.
• Lead and mentor a team of quality control specialists.
• Lead investigations into quality issues and implement corrective actions.
• Coordinate with production and manufacturing to align goals and quality.
• Recommend and implement quality control technology and systems.
• Provide strategic direction for quality management and performance targets.
• Conduct regular audits of processes, materials, products and quality conditions.
• Drive continuous improvement and a culture of quality.
• Audit and evaluate suppliers’ and vendors’ quality performance.
• Keep abreast of industry developments and evolving standards.
• Prepare and present quality reports to leadership.
• Oversee product testing procedures and vendor approvals based on quality.
