Job summary

Lantheus, a leader in radiopharmaceuticals, seeks an Executive Director, Head of Clinical Development, Oncology, to shape and drive the global oncology strategy. Based in Bedford, MA, this on-site role requires presence 2–3 days weekly and manages cross‑functional teams across the US and EMEA.

The candidate will oversee trials, publications and regulatory interactions to advance patient outcomes. We require a doctorate with nuclear medicine board certification, 15+ years in drug development, and

Qualifications

• Doctorate degree in a relevant scientific field with board certification in Nuclear Medicine or Radiology.
• Experience in oncology is highly preferred and essential for leadership in this role.
• Minimum 15 years in drug development with a track record in trial planning and execution.
• Strong regulatory knowledge (FDA, EMA, ICH) and international team leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the overall strategy for the oncology pipeline across US and EMEA.
• Build clinical development capabilities and ensure consistent execution.
• Oversee company-sponsored oncology trials and input study-related documents.
• Supervise medical and safety aspects of ongoing trials.
• Support launch strategies, lifecycle management, and indication expansions.
• Engage with regulatory authorities and stay aligned with guidelines.
