Job summary

Nikon SLM Solutions seeks a seasoned executive to lead its U.S. operations from Long Beach, driving manufacturing performance, supply chain excellence, and commercial operations.

You will partner with global teams in Lübeck, Germany to align production planning, quality, and continuous improvement. Reporting to the Chief Operations Officer, you will own the operations P&L, develop scalable strategies, implement Lean methods, and guide cross‑functional teams across engineering, finance, quality,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations Management, Business Administration, or related field.
• 10+ years of progressive operations leadership within manufacturing or advanced technology.
• Experience leading manufacturing, supply chain, logistics, procurement, and commercial operations.
• Strong background implementing Lean and operational excellence; data-driven KPIs.
• Experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP S/4HANA.

Responsibilities

• Provide executive leadership for manufacturing, supply chain, procurement, logistics, and third-party manufacturing.
• Develop and execute operational strategies to support growth and customer satisfaction.
• Lead workforce development and continuous improvement across Operations.
• Oversee budget, P&L, and KPI development to drive performance.
• Collaborate with global teams to align production planning and quality across partners.
