eBay, a global ecommerce leader, is seeking a Senior Director, Compensation to lead the vision, governance, and design of our broad-based compensation programs worldwide.

You will partner with senior leaders, People teams, and cross‑functional partners to attract, retain, and engage top talent, ensure transparent pay practices, and drive compliant, market‑leading compensation across regions. This senior role reports to the VP, Total Rewards and shapes enterprise-wide compensation strategy.

Qualifications

• 15+ years designing, managing, and evolving compensation programs in global organizations.
• Trusted advisor to senior leaders and cross‑functional stakeholders.
• Deep understanding of broad‑based compensation, pay equity, governance, and transparency.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed.

Responsibilities

• Set the long‑term vision and multi‑year strategy for global compensation programs.
• Lead design, implementation, communication, and continuous improvement of compensation programs.
• Advise on executive offers, promotions, and pay reviews.
• Drive governance, analytics, and compliance across regions.
• Partner on cross‑functional initiatives to improve employee experience through compensation.
