Role Description:

This is a full-time remote role for a Global Head of AI Strategy & Solutions at Svitla Systems, Inc.

We are seeking a strategic, hands-on, and visionary AI leader to drive the growth, innovation, and execution of our AI services. This is a senior leadership role that blends deep technical expertise in AI/ML development with the ability to define strategic direction, lead client engagements, support sales opportunities, and grow a world-class AI team.

You’ll architect and scale our global AI offerings, serve as a trusted advisor to clients, and partner directly with executive leadership to shape service design, go-to-market strategy, and delivery excellence. You’ll also coach internal sales and delivery teams on how to position and deliver AI value with clarity and confidence.

This is not just a technical role, it’s a business-building role. We need someone who can translate cutting-edge AI technologies (including GenAI, LLMs, NLP, CV, and MLOps) into real-world, scalable solutions that deliver measurable business value for our clients.

Svitla has already delivered successful AI projects in production environments across industries. Now, we’re formalizing a dedicated AI practice and hiring a uniquely skilled leader to scale what we’ve built, expand our offerings, and guide our next phase of growth.

You’ll also play a critical role in shaping our internal engineering direction helping our teams stay ahead by introducing and supporting modern tools and frameworks, including Rust, Julia, JAX, and other emerging “vibe coding” technologies that align with advanced AI workloads.

Responsibilities

• Define and evolve Svitla’s AI strategy, offerings, and delivery frameworks.

• Translate client needs into scalable, production-ready AI/ML solutions.

• Lead client-facing engagements across discovery, architecture, and delivery.

• Serve as the technical lead in pre-sales conversations and strategic proposals.

• Build and mentor a global team of AI/ML engineers, data scientists, and solution architects.

• Guide internal engineering teams in the adoption of modern frameworks (e.g. Rust, Julia, JAX).

• Shape reusable assets, IP, and best practices for scalable AI implementation.

• Collaborate with the executive team to align AI strategy with broader business goals.

• Represent Svitla in thought leadership, events, and industry partnerships.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in software engineering with a focus on AI/ML development and delivery

• Strong hands-on experience with modern AI/ML stacks (Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, Hugging Face)

• Experience with next-generation languages and tooling including Rust, Julia, JAX, and other high-performance, research-friendly frameworks

• Working knowledge of “vibe coding” concepts and modern developer environments—plus a passion for helping other engineers level up

• Familiarity with cloud-native AI tools and infrastructure (AWS, GCP, Azure AI)

• Track record in leading consulting engagements or building a practice from scratch

• Proven ability to translate technical solutions into clear business outcomes for non-technical audiences

• Master’s or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field preferred
