Job summary

GSK seeks a Senior Director to lead the Automation Acceleration Hub, uniting AI engineering, automation, and platform engineering. You will report to the CTO and guide a ~50-person global team across the US, UK, and India to deliver AI-driven enterprise solutions at scale.

You will establish standards, govern AI deployment, and accelerate enterprise adoption of AI capabilities across research, development, manufacturing, and commercial operations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years leading enterprise AI/automation at scale with measurable impact.
• Experience with LLMs, MLOps, and agentic AI architectures.
• Proven governance and security in regulated environments.
• Experience leading distributed teams across multiple geographies (US/UK/India).

Responsibilities

• Translate enterprise AI strategy into measurable business outcomes.
• Drive execution across AI engineering, automation, and platform teams.
• Manage portfolio prioritization, investment decisions, delivery governance, and value realization.
• Lead development and deployment of AI solutions, agents, and automation platforms.
• Establish enterprise standards, reusable architectures, and AI-first engineering practices.
• Accelerate adoption of AI across the technology organization through enablement, education, and best practices.
• Lead enterprise RPA and intelligent automation capabilities.
• Own DevSecOps platforms, CI/CD, developer experience, security, compliance, and operational excellence.
• Drive convergence of traditional automation, AI, and platform engineering into scalable operating model.
• Establish trusted AI governance frameworks.
• Partner with Security, Legal, Privacy, Quality, Compliance teams to ensure safe deployment in regulated environments.
• Champion Responsible AI, operational resilience and risk management.
• Lead and grow a global team across AI Engineering, Automation, and Platform Engineering.
• Influence executive stakeholders and technology leaders across the enterprise.
• Represent GSK externally with strategic partners and industry forums.
