Job summary

Pinkerton Consulting & Investigations, Inc. in Washington, DC is seeking a Global GSOC Analyst to monitor threats and support client security operations for a multinational engagement.

You will gather and validate threat intelligence from open sources, monitor geopolitical risks, manage incident communications, and coordinate with senior security leadership in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in a GSOC environment.
• Familiarity with security tools and protocols.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to intake, evaluate, and sift large quantities of information.
• Analytical skills with rigorous insights into complex situations.

Responsibilities

• Represent Pinkerton’s core values of integrity, vigilance, and excellence.
• Conduct regular monitoring of open-source intelligence and client tools for threats to employees and assets.
• Collect and validate intelligence, assessing credibility of sources.
• Observe and report on global security issues including terrorism, disasters, crime and health incidents.
• Monitor geopolitical events that may impact travel and operations.
• Serve as initial command element during emergencies or crises.
• Manage internal alarm monitoring, trace, and responses.
• Conduct video surveillance activities.
• Complete external threat monitoring and provide rapid communication with employees and stakeholders.
• Report progress on projects and communicate with senior security management.
