Global Graduate Trainee - Research & Development Associate

Become our Global Graduate Trainee in R&D Bakery Improvers & Mixers for our rapidly growing, global team!

Over the course of our 3-year Graduate Trainee program, you will participate in 3 annual rotations within our Research & Development Bakery Improvers & Mixes department at our USA HQ, with an international assignment (+/- 1-year foreign experience).

Year 1: Pennsauken, NJ - Deep-Dive into R&D Bakery
  • Complete an introductory RAP (Recipe, Additive, Process program).
  • Engage in innovation and project work designing and experimenting with bakery improvers and mixes.
  • Analyze results, draw conclusions, and recommend actions.
  • Share insights with the global R&D community.
  • Collaborate with Applied R&D and Application Specialists in Innovation Centers.
Year 2: Belgium R&D Team
  • Participate in an international assignment in Belgium.
  • Work on innovation projects across various markets.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of innovations.
Year 3: West Coast, USA - Application Specialist
  • Work in California Innovation Center.
  • Assist in troubleshooting, product development, and implementation.
  • Support business development and customer relationships.
Candidate Profile
  • University Degree in Food Science or related, with excellent academic record.
  • Final year student or graduate within the last 18 months.
  • Relevant internship or work experience in Food, FMCG, or similar.
  • Innovative mindset, teamwork, flexibility, achievement-oriented.
  • Passion for the Food industry.
  • Willingness to relocate globally.
  • Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
  • Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and open to using AI and databases.
