Job summary

Verisk ISO Corelines in the United States is seeking a highly technical Manager, Generative AI to lead a globally distributed team of engineers responsible for developing production-grade GenAI products. This role combines software engineering and AI leadership to define technical direction and translate business opportunities into scalable GenAI solutions.

You will guide architecture decisions on LLMs, RAG, and model fine-tuning, drive observability and security, and partner with product owners

Qualifications

• 7+ years of industry experience in software, data science, or ML.
• 2+ years hands-on GenAI/LLM delivery experience.
• Experience building large-scale production software and data platforms.
• Strong Python and cloud-native deployment skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop globally distributed engineering teams with hands-on leadership.
• Architect and deliver production-grade GenAI products with quality and cost efficiency.
• Guide decisions on LLMs, RAG, fine-tuning, and prompt engineering.
• Establish GenAI evaluation, testing, observability, and production monitoring.
• Translate business needs into technical requirements and delivery plans.
• Promote engineering best practices across the GenAI lifecycle.
• Communicate decisions and risks to engineers and executives.
