Job summary

Dana Fort Wayne plant seeks a senior gear processing supervisor with a mechanical engineering background to lead our gear processing team and drive cross‑functional coordination with maintenance, automation, operations, and scheduling.

You will implement best practices to improve safety, quality, and productivity, develop supervisors and operators, and participate in APQP program launches and capital budgeting. Travel and occasional extended shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T per standards.
• Proven mechanical aptitude and use of measuring equipment.
• Experience with CNC programming and machining processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead gear processing team and coordinate with maintenance, automation, and operations.
• Oversee APQP-led program launches and finance capital budgeting.
• Ensure safety, quality, and productivity improvements with documented training.
