Mars, Incorporated in McLean, VA is seeking a Consolidations professional to assist in preparing the U.S. GAAP consolidated financial statements for Mars and its subsidiaries, focusing on the periodic consolidations process and close activities.

The role supports the Consolidations Lead and Financial Reporting Team, collaborates with external auditors, and helps improve data quality, controls, and the close calendar to ensure timely, compliant reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting and CPA license required.
• 2–4 years of audit experience.
• 1–2 years in external reporting.
• Experience with external auditors and consultants.

Responsibilities

• Generate reports from financial systems for annual and quarterly US GAAP statements.
• Support close and consolidation processes, including journal entries and analyses.
• Assist with GAAP close calendar, schedules, and footnotes.
• Collaborate with auditors to facilitate year-round audits.
• Document processes and controls for US GAAP close and consolidation.
