Job summary

Brookfield Asset Management Inc. in New York, NY is seeking a Treasury Analyst to join the Treasury team. The role provides broad exposure to cash management, banking relationships, financing, controls and treasury systems across Brookfield’s flagship funds.

You will support daily cash management, process wire/ACH payments, manage bank accounts, assist with intercompany loans, letters of credit, FX hedging, audits and process improvements while building a broad foundation in treasury.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of total professional experience including treasury operations
• Experience with banking or fund financing is preferred
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to design financial processes and controls

Responsibilities

• Support daily cash management and fund flows across Brookfield’s funds
• Prepare and review cash flow templates; initiate wire and ACH transactions
• Assist with bank account administration and signatory changes
• Support banking relationships and treasury system improvements
• Assist with intercompany loan management and financing arrangements
• Coordinate with fund administrators and auditors
• Support FX hedging and ISDA negotiation
