Job summary

Oppenheimer & Co. Inc. is seeking an Investment Banking Associate in New York to support the Global Fund Placement & Advisory Group.

You will work with senior bankers to prepare materials, coordinate investor outreach, and manage execution across advisory and distribution for private equity clients. The role emphasizes due diligence, market analysis, and maintaining investor relationships with U.S. institutional accounts, including RFIs and roadshows.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of investment banking or private equity experience.
• Experience with fundraising, deal execution and client reporting.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Licenses: Series 63, 79 and SIE required at or shortly after hiring.

Responsibilities

• Prepare client presentations and offering memoranda.
• Coordinate investor communications and CRM updates.
• Support due diligence and mandate origination.
• Assist in coordinating investor roadshows.
• Analyze industry trends and fund manager performance.
