Oppenheimer & Co. Inc. in New York is seeking an Investment Banking Debt Advisory & Restructuring Associate to support senior bankers on strategic alternatives, liability management, M&A and restructuring.

You will lead day-to-day transaction execution under MD supervision, draft materials, perform due diligence, build financial models, and maintain client relationships while coordinating with professionals across the group.

Qualifikationen

• Experience in investment banking, specifically the restructuring sector.
• Aptitude for quantitative and qualitative analysis.
• Exceptional communication skills and executive presence, both verbal and written.
• Elevated attention to detail and consistency in work product.
• Maturity, integrity, leadership, and strong work ethic.
• Self-starting team player in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
• FINRA registrations: SIE, 79, 63 licenses required at hire or shortly after.

Aufgaben

• Lead day-to-day transaction execution under direction of Managing Directors.
• Lead pitch drafting and transaction marketing documents.
• Coordinate and perform due diligence and execute debt advisory and restructuring deals, including direct client interaction.
• Develop, review and oversee financial models, valuation analyses, and research.
• Maintain client relationships and contact with prospective clients and advisors.
• Support new business and marketing initiatives.
• Train and mentor junior team members.
• Prepare client presentations, offering memoranda and internal memos for senior bankers.
• Assess industry research and trends.
